Manipur Students Embrace Offline College Admissions as MP Government Greenlights In-Person Enrollments!

In a compassionate gesture of solidarity, the Madhya Pradesh (MP) government, under the leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party, has responded to the plea of Manipur's government. The request, aimed at alleviating the struggles faced by students in the violence-affected areas of Manipur due to internet outages, has been gladly accepted. As an act of empathy, MP's Higher Education department has issued a circular directing all private and government colleges to accommodate offline submission of admission documents from Manipuri students.

Traditionally, admissions to MP's colleges have been conducted online, a seamless process that has attracted students from Manipur seeking to pursue higher education. However, the recent turmoil in Manipur, witnessing clashes between the Metei and Kuki communities since early May, resulted in a severe internet disruption, hindering students from smoothly completing their applications. This decision to allow offline submissions provides a much-needed respite for those aspiring minds, especially sports enthusiasts, who have been enrolling in sports academies in MP while simultaneously pursuing educational courses.

The MP government's unwavering support not only recognizes the significance of education but also acknowledges the dreams and ambitions of Manipuri students.
